In Uganda we have a new jargon of slay queens in Kampala who solely beautify themselves to look for men and are party animals. Equally this jargon can ably fit in school setting. Schools have slay Students and who are these slay Students
- They don’t know why they are in schools. They feel they are forced tostudy by parents and Teachers
- They are pre -occupied with non-Academic issues.
- They are good at distracting others from concentrating like making noise, are good story tellers.
- They claim life style that is not theirs.
- They are taken up by fashion trends, music, soaps and live a hyper life.
- They are habitually indisciplined.
- They are not authentic to themselves.
- They can’t tell what’s is their dream.
- They are never settled. Ever moving around school.
- School Social functions are their priority.
- They love school outings.
- They tell countless Holiday episodes and with cooked lies.
Dear Students; never be considered a slay Student. You are in school solely for Academic cause. Your stories and attempts to make yourself a class apart is irrelevant. What matters most is your score at the end. Slay Students are short sighted. STUDENTS who read harder end up achieving
what they want in life. The Student you look down today is going to be successful tomorrow. BE YOURSELF, BE HUMBLE, BE LOYAL TO SCHOOL AUTHORITY, CONSULT YOUR TEACHERS, USE YOUR STUDENT TIME WELL. YOU CAN BE ANYTHING YOU WANT TO BE IN WORLD…WHAT MAY STOP YOU IS YOU. WE BECOME WHAT WE BECOME BY THE CHOICES WE MAKE.
