NWSC continues to fulfill it’s strategic mission of providing water and Sewerage services in Urban Centres of Uganda inter alia,the management of Mbarara Area under auspices of Eng .Francis Kateeba Atwoki and Technical Advisor – Ankole Sub Region yesterday 26th August 2022 verified , tested and commissioned the completed 01 Km Sewer extension line ( PVC pipes of “6”, Pn6) in central cell Nyamityobora ward, Mbarara City that will be feeding Kizungu sewerage ponds. This 01 Km Sewer extension line has costed NWSC 58 millions Ug Shillings and will serve people of Kizungu , Kisenyi and surrounding areas.
The management of NWSC- Mbarara Area echoed on the exigent need of increased Sewerage services in a fast growing Mbarara City because sanitation component is very core in creating a clean city .
The Management of NWSC- Mbarara Area inferably requested leadership of Mbarara City to mobilize residents to apply for sewer connections from Branch offices to use this Sewerage service.
