Mbarara Area- NWSC organises a workshop to equip it’s workers in age of 40 years or also  on pre and post  retirement plan

Today , the management of Mbarara Area- NWSC ( National water and Sewerage Corporation) under auspices of Eng Kateeba Francis has organised a workshop  to pre- plan their retirement and how best they can have a secure, comfort and fun retirement. The workshop targeted employees of NWSC that are 40 years or also in age. The workshop took place at Generation Suites- Mbarara city and was moderated and directed by Madam Martha Komuhangi – Senior Human Resource Officer . Mbarara Area- NWSC.

Eng Kateeba Francis- General Manager- Mbarara Area  said in his submission that the moment one gets appointed to work in NWSC  is a moment one is ought to start planning his retirement and implored his fellow employees to use their salaries to invest wisely  in income generating activities, have business plan and inferably do things on budget and spend sparingly so that surplus is left for saving and investment.

Mr.Tugume Robert- Centenary bank branch manager Mbarara echoed on saving culture and elucidated on multiplicity of investment options premised on getting bigger profit returns in pre and post retirement period. Mr.Rutaro Julien- Mbarara Area Branch Manager- NSSF  expounded on how employees of NWSC can access their NSSF savings and how best they can  wisely  invest their money.

Mr Igambirine Hillary- Motivational Speaker implored employees of NWSC not to fear retirement because retirement means  changing from a place of work where you have been  an employee to world of work where you are a boss to yourself and  Chief Executive officer of your  life destiny. Mr.Igambirine Hillary implored audience to start investing in productive ventures where one has passion, must be careful of  con men/ women  not be duped of their  hard earned money. He called them upon  to work  hard and smartly but also spare time to nourish their physical and mental health, have time for leisure to avoid stress associated with retirees, educate their children , be relevant to Community by  giving back to Community , improving their spirituality through prayer and meditation. Igambirine Hillary inferably called them upon on how best to handle failure in life; that success is built on failure, failure inspires successful people, successful people learn lessons from failure and successful people don’t give up.

Dr.David Arinaitwe- Medical superintendent of Mayanja hospital- Mbarara gave tips on health living  so that high medical bills can be avoided and their monies is instead invested in productive development.

Mr.Wasswa James- Principal Accounts Officer – Mbarara Area-NWSC shared success stories of folks who have used their meagre salaries to develop and called upon fellow workers to exigently invest their salary earnings to have comfort, secure and fun retirement.

Mr. Julius Mbaine- Ag Public Relations Officer – Mbarara Area- NWSC was ably capturing every ingredient of submission to be shared on concerned platforms.
