Today 19th December 2022; National water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) Bushenyi Area – Buhweju Branch team headed by Eng Sam Kiggundu( Bushenyi Area Manager), Mr. Ajuna Ivan – Senior Human Resource officer- Greater Bushenyi, Buhweju Branch Manager- Mr Nasasira Edwin took Christmas gifts to Nsiika Health centre 1V patients . The package included inter alia: Soap, Sugar, toilet papers, refleshments . Buhweju District RDC- Mr Nuwagira Nicholas, Nsiika Town Council – Mr.Natukunda Joseph, Nsiika Town Council- Mr.Asiimwe Denis and Dr Philip Nahamya – Incharge of Nsiika Health centre 1V witnessed the hand over of the said assorted items. NWSC has also constructed toilet facilities at Nsiika Health centre 1V that is to be commissioned on Wednesday 21st December 2022.
Buhweju Area leaders around thanked NWSC for their unique corporate Social responsibility that has caused cordial rapport between Buhweju District leadership, Community and NWSC.
Buhweju District RDC-Mr Nuwagira Nicholas thanked NWSC for it’s dependable and affordable Service to Buhweju District and requested NWSC -Bushenyi Area management to specifically extend his gratitude to Managing Director of NWSC- Dr.Eng Silver Mugisha for the good service rendered by NWSC to Buhweju and it’s corporate Social responsibility aimed at touching lives of people.
NWSC – Bushenyi Area Manager Engineer Sam Kiggundu said that it’s in Consonance with corporate Social responsibility strategic planning of NWSC to give back to Community which he dubbed as “stakeholders and Community appreciation drive”. NWSC- Bushenyi Area concluded their drive by also giving Christmas gifts to Nsiika Church of Uganda’s Archdeocon one Rev Canon Charles which included bags of rice, sugar, sackets of salt, tea and bars of soap.
