National water and Sewerage Corporation ( NWSC) bought former Crane Resort Hotel some years back and turned it into Western Region Resource Centre ( WESREC) where inter alia ; it eases training of it’s staff in residential and non residential workshops . The board and management of NWSC being in cognizant of making NWSC as a profit making public entity; they have continued to make WESREC HOTEL open to the public by providing accomodation, training, conference and meeting facilities Restaurant & bar, Health club ( gym, Sauna& steam and Recreational gardens. WESREC HOTEL is situated on Ishaka- Kizinda( Kaburengye) – Kasese road

Mr.Kahiigi Paul- Principal Public Relations Officer Western and South Western Uganda – NWSC said that he salutes Board and management team of NWSC for having thought it prudent to purchase this facility because it has minimized Institutional expenditure and is very happy to see increased customer base to WESREC HOTEL which leaves NWSC as a government profit making entity as it was echoed by H.E Museveni while presiding over 50 years of NWSC service at Kololo ceremonial grounds recently.
