While at exhibition of Bushenyi Area- NWSC at Women’s day at St Kagwa primary play grounds ; Mr.Mugume Deo Samuel- a Senior Quality Control Officer NWSC – Greater Bushenyi showcased stages Water undergoes to be safe for human consumption. ( refer to attached video clips Mr.Mugume expounds it ) Mr.Mugume Deo said that the more water is contaminated the more NWSC spends alot to buy chemicals to purify it. He called upon public to protect water sources from all forms of contamination.
Mr.Mugume Deo said that public is also requested to clean their overhead tanks every after six months to remove all impurities and should make sure to check on the cover tops to be tight to avoid birds and animals to contaminate water on roof tops.
