Hon Annet Katusiime Mugisha while giving her speech at Kitabi Parish day celebrations last Sunday 2nd July 2023 said that she had been profoundly humbled by NWSC management and staff for supporting activities of God , paying Church tithe as commanded by Lord and even praying with people. Hon Katusiime Annet Mugisha said this could also be responsible for NWSC being best a public Institution in Uganda because the hand of God is there. NWSC staff contributed seven millions Ug shillings to help Kitabi Parish in its development plans. Rev Fr Katusiime Hillary; the Parish Priest said that they are carrying out motley of activities like construction of business centre, demonstration farm, refurbishment and they are to convert Kitabi PTC buildings into a hospital inter alia. Rev Fr Hillary Katusiime said that he gravitates to see Kitabi Parish being self supporting .
The guest of Honour was Minister of Internal affairs Hon Major General Kahinda Otafire who pledged 5 millions Ug shillings.
