The office of the president- Bushenyi District while monitoring schools to ascertain pupils” reporting and teachers’ attendance; it has been figured out that some parents don’t give scholastic materials to their children. For example in certain school; in whole class; no student had uniform, no mathematical set , no one was even putting on shoes. Therefore; such incident is microcosm of parents’ irresponsibility in education of their children.
Imperative to note; as government enrolled UPE and USE programs; parents have responsibility to meet scholastic materials i.e books, pens, uniform, lunch. Its very prudent upon us as leaders to sensitise our parents about their supplementary role with government in education of their children
