Hon Katusiime Annet Mugisha’s Communication Office has received a copy letter from Executive Director of Uganda Road Fund (URF) one Dr.Eng Andrew Naimanye referenced ( URF / DA/ DIST/ 824/23) dated 11th May 2023 ascertaining release of 50 millions Ug Shs to do Emergency works at Nyaruzinga swamp that had triggered public outcry.
While our communication Office engaging Hon Katusiime Annet Mugisha said that on 2nd March 2023 together with other leaders , stakeholders and Bushenyi District local government wrote a formal letter referenced CR.851/2 to Uganda Road fund to showcase the impassable ingredient of Nyaruzinga swamp that needed exigent attention. Hon Annet Katusiime Mugisha inferably said that as leaders; what concerns community equally touches them and should never be taken to be leaders who are never sensitive to public outcry and showed her gratitude to Executive Director of URF for having acted first.
